Boys Junior Varsity Basketball, Boys Varsity Basketball · Spartan Madness Night (Nov. 17th)

Spartan Madness Night was AWCPA’s first annual basketball festival.  A tradition started by new head coach Tony Temple, Spartan Madness was created to get the school more involved and excited about the upcoming season.  The event featured three challenges: a skills challenge, a three point contest, and a 5-on-5 competition. Each year four teams will compete to take home the SMN medal. The teams included Staff, Alumni, Students, and Team basketball (a mix of boys and girls basketball).  Winners for this year’s contest included Juan (Alumni) for the skills challenge, Coach Tony Temple (Staff) for the 3-point contest, and the Staff for the 5-on-5 tournament.  It was an exciting kickoff to the season with over 150 people in attendance. A special thank you to all who came out to support West. Mark your calendars — SMN ’18 will be a good one!
